Hi! I am Ingrid!

I play with purpose.

I am an energetic Guadeloupean who landed in Vancouver in 2017 with the desire to improve my English speaking skills through theatre and improv classes. Unable to find such a place, I created Griottes Polyglottes for those who enjoy learning by doing while having fun.

With a background as an actress back in France, I developed a creative and fun methodology to help Corporate to have a long lasting social impact pn their teams a,d bring them together in a cohesive way.

During my entreperneurial journey I found out that some organisations and schools can not afford my workshops, therefore I created on top of my business a Non-Profit (Griottes Polyglottes Arts & EDI Society) to offer my workshop at their level of finances.

Through that non profit I help newcomers, immigrants, and culturally diverse teams overcome shyness, boost confidence, increase a sense of belonging, and quickly learn a new language through role-playing and improvisation.

I also work closely with schools to combat serious topics like fighting against racism, injustice, and exclusion.

And I... am... also a storyteller using French and Kreyol in my very interactive shows.

And I.... am... (sorry almost done) also a stage performer, I have performed in France and Africa but also in Canada for l'Alliance Française and Réseau Femmes.

I am regular volunteer performer at the Vancouver Playback Theater company.

When I'm not leading workshops, I get lost in the mountains of BC to recharge.

My clients and friends define me as energetic, hilarious, inspiring, and totally badass entrepreneur who proves that you can learn while having fun and making a difference in the world.
